  • Major Milestones: Established in 1969 as Christ College. The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India conferred Autonomy to Christ College in 2004 and identified it as an Institution with Potential for Excellence in 2006. Sigorta eğitimi genel olarak iki ana kısma ayrılmaktadır; İlki kuruluş amacını da oluşturan sigorta sektöründe çalışmakta olan kişilerin bilgi ve becerilerini geliştiren teknik sigorta eğitimleridir.     Turkish Insurance Institute (TSEV) was founded in 1970 by the members of Turkish insurance sector itself. The main objective of TSEV is to provide technical courses based on insurance. On the other hand, the vision of TSEV is to be a leading institution on insurance training not only in Turkey but also in the region. Insurance training is divided in two parts in TSEV: the first part is to develop knowledge and skills of the people working in insurance market, and the second part is to provide accurate legal and technical knowledge on insurance for the insured. By this way, it is targeted to prevent loss of rights of the insured as a consequence of wrong or missing information. The duration of training programmes for professionals varies from one day to one year while the others may last one or two days in general.
